I have owned a Fitbit for many years and still have a Charge 4 that I been using for 2 years. I started biking (up to 22 miles now) recently and can't get the Fitbit GPS to track my ride. I get partial tracking but it seems to track less now. I always make sure my Charge 4 & iPhone are at least 50% charged. When I tap on the Bike mode and then tap the Start button I watch until it says that I am connected but at the end of the ride when I sync my Charg 4 to my iPhone, it does not track my entire ride.

Hi there @MrBill58, it's good to see you around in the Community.
Thank you for sharing this information. I'd recommend you have the latest Fitbit Firmware and OS of your mobile device, then restart your device.
Fitbit devices use a 3-axis accelerometer to track movement. They calculate distance based on the device’s accelerometer data and stride length setting. Default stride length is based on your height and gender. If available, Fitbit devices use GPS data to calculate more precise distances. When you sync your device, our algorithm interprets the data from the device, and you see the distance traveled in the Fitbit app.

@LucioFitbit strides when biking? Why don't you stop one moment and read what @MrBill58 is saying?
@MrBill58 Are you using the device GPS or the phone (connected) GPS? In both case you might want to try the alternative way (so if connected GPS is in use try device GPS and vice-versa)
