I am so frustrated with the charge 4. I never should’ve updated from the charge 2. It was definitely a downgrade. Despite trying all the suggestions on this site and despite working with multiple customer service reps the GPS only works about one out of every five times. This is despite trying two different charge 4 devices. I never had this problem with my charge 2 ever! I’m not even trying to use the GPS built into the device. I just want to use the GPS on my phone. I could do this easily with the charge 2, not so with the charge 4. I want my money back!

try to see if this helps ...
also some threads mentioned about VPN interfering with the feature as well
