Hi,
Do anyone have any tips on how to calibrate or reset the pulse detection on the Charge 4? It is horrible during exercise. I can be out running, benchmarking against a Forerunner 245, Samsung Watch 4, Beuer chest strap, and all the later shows me around 180. Charge 4? Fat burner at 135.. and for a split second the 3 vibes come.. PEAK!, and a second later, fatburner 135.....
After a 30 min run, the other ways to measure show an average of 175, but Charge 4, 135 - 140, and I NEVER go over my set max of 190, even when I do push 195 - 196 on all the others. If I set it to max 185, I never top out over.... 185.
Does thos watch suck this much on the one thing it's supposed to do? Or can you calibrate it somehow?
And don't get me started on the GPS, according to it, I cheat a lot in the corners.....

Hi there @delofson. It's good to see you in the Community.
I appreciate you shared your experience. I'd recommend you check these articles, How do I track heart rate with my Fitbit device?, What factors can affect my hear rate reading on my Fitbit device? and How accurate are Fitbit devices?.
Hope this helps.

My charge 4 started giving multiple false pulse rates a few months ago sporadically, some days once other days 8 times for over 100 minutes cardio or fat burning while asleep or resting, rares of 115 to 140 when not moving, finger pulse rate 62 to67 confirmed mul times, reported to help line, reboot , reset did not fix it, still doing this today
