Charge 4 adding step count for a swim

I've been using a charge 4 for swimming for over a year now but in the last couple of weeks it has now started adding step counts for my swim (which I don't want).  Before I get in the pool my count is about 700 steps for the day.  When I get out it is over 4000.  When I look at my dashboard online and check the swim activity it says that is 0 steps of my 4000!  It's really making my figures inaccurate.  I've just tried re-booting the watch and so will check again next time but I wondered if anybody else was having the same problem.

@Nicbfc , Nice to have you around. Thank you for your message and for your description of the situation.

Your tracker might record some steps while you are swimming, as your wrist and  arm are moving.

This also helps the tracker with the measurement of your swim rounds.

You might not see the steps on the summary of your activity as they will be removed (only the number) as on swimming you usually don't do any steps.

Hope this helps you further.
