Charge 4 and iOS exercise maps show little data

I got the Charge 4 because it tracks GPS and heart rate. But the new app cripples the functionality.

When I track an exercise with my Charge 4 (either outdoor workout for surfing or run) it tracks both my route and heart rate. However when I look at the route in the app it has the whole route as “light” hear rate zones and in the data you can find on the km markers it says I was 0% in all zones.

But in the record of the session as a whole it says (for example) that I was 84% vigorous, so my whole exercise couldn’t have been “light”

Note this is being tracked ONLY by the Fitbit not my phone.

I am really underwhelmed by the new app. I can’t even categorise my outdoor workout as a surf any more.

I agree with your assessment. The new ap seems to have crippled the device and there is no indication that FitBit is going to do anything about it. I really dislike losing the active HR reading. This is really stupid!
