I went swimming two days ago and my Fitbit Charge 4 will not hold a charge for longer than 10 minutes.
I have cleaned it very well. I even sealed it with silica packets over night to get out any moisture. Nothing works.
When it's plugged in I can do things. I have rebooted several time. Deleted the data and restarted. Nothing is working. Why would the Fitbit break being in five feet of water?
Thank you,
Dean

Hi, @DeanLH , it’s possible that overnight was not long enough. I would suggest putting it in with silica - or a bag of uncooked rice works well - for a couple of days to make sure it is really dry. After that plug it in to charge fully, and give it a restart (instructions here )
If after a longer period to dry, and a restart, you are still experiencing the same issue, I would suggest getting in touch with Fitbit Customer Support on contact.Fitbit.com .

Right now I have it vacuum sealed with wrist bands and five silica packets. I might try replace the bands, in the event they are causing the drain somehow.
Really upset this divice has broken so easily when I have had zero issues with it this far.
