Well after researching the forums i seem to have caught the dreaded battery quick death bug. Everything was good until 4 days ago. I tried all the settings recommended in the other posts but it dies in 4-6 hours.
Come on Fitbit , what is going on. This is not a normal thing and smacks of the Apple slow down fiasco.
What is happening and how do we fix it Fitbit

SAME! I updated my fitbit 4 days ago. It was perfectly fine before then, holding a charge for 6-7 days. Now it will not hold a charge for more than 2 hours. I've removed all apps from the device except for the bare minimum (exercise, alarms, timers, and settings). I contacted customer support 3 times in the last two days. They have no answer other than to offer me 35% off a new device. I don't want a new device. This one is barely over one year old, just out of warranty. If not for the update, it would be working fine. Fitbit, fix your error instead of asking customers to repurchase a device that shouldn't be broken in the first place!

I have the same problem. My Charge 4 used to hold a charge for a week, even with heavy round the clock use. Now, it'll charge fully but doesn't hold a charge for even an afternoon, whether or not it's used. I've only had it for a year and a half, and the problem came suddenly only a week or so ago. Customer service meant well, but offered no help other than to suggest that I try recharging my watch (which was never the problem)... or buy a new one.
