I came on here to find out why my Charge 4 keeps changing to dim. I did find a post which has been closed and I assume it's a common issue with no fix?

Welcome back to the forums @Stuarta99.
Thank you for taking the time to share the details regarding this difficulty with your Charge 4.
Please make sure you've restarted your Fitbit device as suggested here How do I restart my Fitbit device?. If the restart doesn't work try to change your clock face. If this fixes the issue, you can change your clock face back to the original clock face.
If the above doesn't work, please check if your Charge 4 is in sleep mode. When the sleep mode setting is on:

I've had the same problem with multiple versions of the Charge 4. The last one was dim, straight out of the box. I've now replaced it but unfortunately it has stopped charging after one week!

I've had my Charge 4 since new so a few years now but it clearly doesn't appear to be happy.
Today, while out walking, it was showing as normal, but I couldn't see anything on screen unless I shielded it under my jacket. My wife's Charge 4 was fine.
