Charge 4 brightness

Hi,  my watch is not readable.  I've tried changing the clock face and resetting it when it is charging. It is too dim, even if I swipe, I cannot see the settings to amend the brightness. My watch is just 2 years old. Very disappointed,  as I enjoyed it and I've had friends who purchased at the same time,  who have had no issues.

Has the screen slowly over time lost it’s brightness? If so it could be the screen failing and as it’s over 2 years not warranty left sorry to say, my 3.5 year old Charge 3 has gone the same way, lost brightness slowly then over the last two weeks has gone so dim I can’t read anything.

Make sure you are not in 'Sleep Mode'; that keeps the screen dim.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.
