I know there are other topics on this. I participated in at least one in fall 2021. The issue has only gotten worse.
I've wiped and scrubbed the back of my Charge 4. I've made sure the Fitbit app is current. I've checked for an SpO2 update. I've adjusted the tightness and placement of my wristband.
I've now had no SpO2 readings - with one exception - for at least 2 weeks.
The EOV algorithm plugs happily along, extrapolating theoretical oxygen usage each night. Against what base I have no idea. In fact, a clear explanation of what the EOV function actually measures vs projects would be useful - if the device is not capturing an actual value, what is it extrapolating variation from?
Is Fitbit even keeping Oxygen monitoring up to date and functional across all models? I know Charge 4 isn't current, but upgrading to another model is of questionable value since I see SpO2 performance questions from other model users too.
Guess I'm looking for feedback from other Charge 4 users as to their satisfaction with handling Oxygen, and also if the Charge 5 is any better? Also from Fitbit reps as to if they are dealing with the issue.
