Charge 4 - not starting

My Charge 4 suddenly quit working yesterday. It won’t charge and the screen is blank. I’ve tried waking it up to no avail. It’s only a year and a half old. What can I do?Anyone have a similar situation? Thanks.

The exact thing happened to my charge 4 yesterday. It is charged and the side button does vibrate when pushed. The screen is black but I can get a smile face to come up but nothing else. I contacted support who walked me through multiple things that did not help at all. They gave me no reason as to what this is or why it happened. Mine is 1 year 6 months old. I would expect more from Fitbit. All they offered me was 35% off a device on their website which equates the same price as Amazon. I hope someone has better luck or can figure out what this is.

Same has happened here too, about a year old and it has given up the ghost. Tried force restart, I get the smiley face then blank screen. All it does if I take it out of the cradle is vibrate and nothing else. Very annoying if there is no replacement for this!

This happened to me too once, so what you want to do is put on the charger and charge it for like 1min, after you did that step you want to manually reset it. To do that you have to click the side button 4 times and the 4th time you want to hold it until the screen turns on. If the screen turns on with a smiley face that’s when you know you’ve successfully turned it on, and there should be no problem. Or in some cases it will just automatically turn on with no smiley face. Either way it should be working with no problem after that. Hope this helps!

Thanks everyone. I tried everything and the suggested restarts but it’s still not working. It also sometimes vibrates non stop like crazy for no reason so I think it’s toast. For being only a year and a half old, that’s crazy. Looks like I’ll be shopping for another tracker.

My fitbit just died just like everyone else's I have tried charging it and cleaning the contacts its just blank

Thanks Jessica, this actually worked, although I had to try it twice (and left the fitbit in the cradle for about 10 mins to get enough charge back into it)

I did contact the support team and they were unable to help me get my watch working again. They also did not give me a reason as to what happened or what was causing this problem.

I take my previous comme t back. It worked for a period of about 12 hours amd has reverted back to vibrating again and no screen.

Thanks. I’ve given up on mine and won’t bother to call Support as I think that will be in vain. Apparently this Charge 4 has a best before date and it just expired. Now in need another tracker😩
