Had this for about 3 and a half months. Twice during this time, the Fitbit has vibrated as if going into Peak and when I check it, it has gone blank. Side button does nothing.
On getting home, plugging in and restarting, it works again - but has lost all data for that exercise. First time, fine, about 1.5km in - second about 7km. And then tracks no distance when I turn around and go home. So double that distance and so on is lost. Doesn't add and calorie burn, zone mins, steps, km.
The device was not flat (shows last sync 20 mins ago at 70 ish percent both times). I usually run about 10-13km in around an hour or so - and this has only happened twice.
Support said it could drop out for any number of reasons, which I kinda take as a non answer.
Is it just normal that some days you'll lose an hour or so of exercise? Because I can't very well just plug the thing into a random wall socket to reset every time it drops out.
To be clear - I cannot reset it until I get home.
It is not flat . It goes blank and loses the data - after a reboot, it works, but is missing the exercise just done.
