So! I got my charge 4 in the mail today, plugged it into the wall almost immediately and then proceeded to start the sync process.
The smile showed on the screen and the fitbit set up link showed up.
Turned on my bluetooth and started following the instructions on the app.
That was until my charge 4 screen is now black. The button is vibrating and responsive, vibrates once, then another either a second or 2 after the first vibrate. Nothing showing on the screen.
So the fitbit connects?? And my app asked for a 4 digit number my charge 4 is showing, but the screen is still black?
The charge 4 has been connected to the charger the whole time.
Tried resetting multiple times, still getting nothing.
I dont know what im doing wrong, this is my first ever fitbit and worried i just broke it lol.

Just received the new Charge 4 this morning. I bought it as a present for my wife and exactly the same thing has happened. Always bought Fitbit but this has really disappointed me.

Same here ... I’ve had a charge 3 that worked fine but this brand new 4 I can get beyond black screen ....

So I tried reset (Whilst in charger hold button own for 8 seconds) and this time it’s worked !
