Charge 4 screen too dim

My screen is too dim and I am not in sleep mode. This is especially problematic when I am outside. 

is there a screen face that I can choose that will always be bright and big?

While you aren't in sleep mode have you checked if you aren't in DND mode? That can also make the screen dim.

Even with the screen brightness set to normal or auto (i.e. anything other then dim), It's a 'feature' of the Charge 4 that the backlight isn't particularly good in sunlight.. If I'm in a sunny spot and need to look at the tracker, I just have to make my own shade by turning my back to the sun 😄

Thank you. I am not in DND or sleep. Maybe I’ll buy the charge 5 reported to be twice as bright.
