Hi. Yesterday I was kicked out of my Fitbit account. After logging back in, the tracker stopped connecting. I rebooted the Charger4 tracker and reinstalled the app. The tracker only connected to my phone after ten attempts but won't sync with it. I have Android 14. I reinstalled the app several times and rebooted the phone (Pixel 5). I deleted all data from the tracker (Fitbit Charge 4) and forced a reboot. Nothing changes. The tracker tries to connect to the phone and sends a 4-digit code, after which the Fitbit app shows a message "Something went wrong" and everything starts over.

I see the same problem but turning my Pixel phone off and then back on again normally helps my Charge 4 😀.
Originally when I started using a Fitbit then the device only sent the data to the phone app for processing. But these days the data goes to the phone and then gets sent to Google, what happens at Google is a mystery but I guess it's processed by Google and then sent back to the phone. So the extra data processing and transfers could be the problem these days ... So when the app says you can't sync you data it's their problem, not a watch device problem. I'm just guessing what's happening ...

Your guess on how the data is routed/handled is probably accurate. I had went for a jog and then an hour later looked at the Fitbit app. The main screen with my heart rate didn't get updated with my new max heart rate yet or any recent details. I go into the heart history and all the recent heart rate graph data is there, but the zone data had not been filled in yet. The app relying on their remote servers to process data makes sense for explaining the missing processed information arriving later. This means if the server is down or doesn't offer that service anymore, then that data doesn't get processed. Even if it's something as simple as heart rate zone.
