Welcome aboard @Lisaital1. Thank you for letting us know that your Charge 4 stops tracking your exercise with low battery.

I would recommend trying to perform your exercise when it has more than 25% battery in order to get it tracked properly.

Keep on visiting the forums.

Thats not very helpful Andrea!  If I start a run and the battery is at 30% by the time I get home the battery is around 25% and stops tracking.  Are you suggesting that everytime i go for a run I need a minimum battery percentage for it to work properly?  If so, what do you suggest?  I didn't have this issue with my previous fitbit.  Perhaps fitbit needs to look into this as their are numerous complaints about it.

Thanks for getting back to us and for your feedback @Lisaital1. There's no a minimum battery percentage for the Charge 4 to work properly.

@Lisaital1   This Help article recommends an 80% battery charge if you want to use built in GPS.  I can see that you are new to the Help forum, but not new to Fitbit.  Unless you have experience with an Ionic or a Surge, you need to know that built in GPS is a battery hog.  Fortunately, as a Charge 4 user, you have the option to use built in or connected GPS.  I use a Versa 3 and I do not have that option.

Thanks for the link, however, this is a problem that seems to have started a few months ago.  It just seems a bit strange that not only has GPS started to drop out but the screen becomes unresponsive with 25% battery as well which doesn't seem right.

Hello, did you get any resolution with this? Mine does the same, totally stops working, then when I plug in it still had 10% battery or some such. Infuriating!

Just seen your message.  No, unfortunately it was more frustrating to keep asking.  I just make sure I have at least 50% battery
