Charge 4 strap connector broken

Have a Charge 4 I got for birthday present in autumn 2020, unfortunately one of the strap connectors has broken off so pretty much makes it unusable. It’s out of warranty now I guess, but don’t have a receipt due to being a present, has anyone else had this and is there a way to get repaired? Seems a shame to throw it as it’s really useful, but sort of no good if not worn. An6 help appreciated.

This happened to me too! I was searching for a solution because my warranty has expired too, I saw this band on Amazon. Basically it wraps around the Fitbit and it doesn’t snap on, so it was really useful it’s just one thing I don’t like about it. It looks a bit bulky but it still works as efficient so it a really good fix. You can buy it on Amazon for about 20-30$, at least that is how much I bought mine for. I will put the name under this reply, hope this helps!

you can just search this up on Amazon and it would pop right up! For it to work all you have to do is pop your Fitbit screen right in! And it is much more protective then a normal Fitbit wrist band!

Yeah I'm on my second charge 4

The first one broke out of warranty this one only lasted 6 months and was replaced under warranty. Unfortunately the plastic connection to the watch is pretty crappy! They tell you to wear the watch 24/7 and then it just keeps breaking. Fitbit come on you can do a better job than this.

Me too. 1st one was under warranty but not since I already used the warranty they wont do anything. 
2nd charge 4 & broke in same spot too.

Solution for breaking the watch strap from the watch case. It happened to me twice that the watch strap broke off for no apparent reason. The reason is simple. Due to use, dust and dirt can get between the strap and the watch case after some time, this connection with spring button is apparently very tight, so that the pressure eventually becomes too high, resulting in breakage. My solution for this is to regularly remove the strap and clean both the strap and the watch case with water and a brush and to move the spring button several times so that everything is clean and moves well again.
