My Charge 4 has stopped accepting touch input. I can not tap the step indicator to change modes. A short press of the side button still wakes/locks the screen, as does the twist to wake. I am also able to long press side button, getting to the settings screen, but I cannot interact with the options there.
I've dug through the forums, but the only fixes offered are to restart the device or to change the sleep settings from the settings screen (which I can not interact with). I've tried restarting while plugged into the charger, and can successfully get the smile on the screen as I reboot, but cannot perform any other reset activities.
Is there a way to perform a hard reset from the connected device (my phone)? Are there any other methods of resetting the device to factory defaults that do not require use of the touch screen?

Mine does this once in a while as well. I can swipe one screen, but then it stops. Usually takes an hour or two before it starts working again, but it is super frustrating and totally impractical at that point.

That's what mine did for awhile. Now it's totally broken.
Luckily, I'm still within warranty period, so I'm just getting a replacement.

This randomly happens to me as well. I can swipe left from the clock screen, but I can't select the Exercise option. I've tried backing out of the menu, cleaning the touch screen, taking it off, but nothing seems to work other than waiting and trying again.
