My Fitbit is about 2 years old. Went for a spin class and now it’s dead. Tried restarting. Tried switching Bluetooth off. Smiley faces come on for a sec bit nothing more….any suggestions??

Hi there, @RohiniH. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for trying to troubleshoot the issue with your Charge 4 before posting here.
To better assist you, please make sure you've restarted your Fitbit device as suggested here How do I restart my Fitbit device?. If the restart doesn't work try to change your clock face. If this fixes the issue, you can change your clock face back to the original clock face.
If the above doesn't work and your Charge 4 did not vibrate while performing the restart, I'd recommend trying the following:
Hope that helps.

Thanks for your reply. Just tried all the above including a new charger! It vibrates but the screen is still blank….
Update: Also the app is not syncing and is still looking for the device?!

Same issue here. Mine went blank on 24.9.22. Hv tried all these, then thought I’d wait and let it discharge fully then try again. Zilch.

You should checkout the tread titled “BLACK SCREEN”. Seems this problem with the charge 4 has been going on with many Charge 4 watches for many months now (mine included). Seems the black screen issues have been a problem since Fitbit did a software/malware update back in July 2022.

I have the same issue since updating yesterday. Restarting did not help. It will show the smiley but go straight back to only vibrating when the button is touched.
I cannot connect to it through Bluetooth so I can't change the clock face or any similar solutions
