Welp, the app seems unable to sync after the Android 12 update on my Pixel 4XL.
Says it is taking a while, then says it can't sync. Funny thing is that it synced in the middle of my sleep when I woke up to pee. Now it can't. Experience tells me that they will tell me to remove connection (usually makes things worse) and reset the Fitbit (which erases data). Y'all are both Google products, could you resolve these things without making users use the nuclear option to recover from update breakage?

Hi there, @Cantaffordit. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for trying to troubleshoot the issue with your Charge 4 before reaching out. We‘re taking your comments and sentiments in regards to our products and services into consideration.
As a first approach, please make sure that your Pixel 4XL does meets the requirements listed here.
If so, please try to restart your Charge 4, turn off other Bluetooth connections when not in use, and shut down your phone. Then, try syncing your Fitbit device.
If the issue persists, please see Why won't my Fitbit device sync?
Hope that helps.
