Charge 4 won't sync to Windows 10 laptop. I've done;
* Stopped bluetooth
* started bluetooth
* restarted Charge 4
* Start fitbit application
Sync starts and then hangs.

I just installed Fitbit Connect, then updated to the new Windows 10 app for my PC, and uninstalled Connect as instructed. My problem is that my Asus G73 cannot see the Charge 4 when Bluetooth is turned on. Is there something I can do to the Fitbit to make it findable for my computer? I cannot use the app on my Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime phone as it has Android 5.1. I saw that Fitbit needs Android 7.0. So how do I use my Fitbit. I don't need or want a new phone or new computer.

Hey @MaritimerRoy, welcome to the Forums!
I appreciate all the efforts in trying to fix this syncing issue and the feedback provided about using it with a computer. As you already know, our newest devices were designed to be used with phones. If you are having problems connecting your tracker with a phone, you can follow the steps in the article: Why won't my Fitbit device sync?.
Have a good day!

Today I added a Bluetooth 4.0 USB adapter to my Windows 10 computer. It saw the Charge 4 once but could not connect. Then I could not get it to even find the Fitbit again.
Why won't Fitbit make a device that talks to Windows 10 computers, which are certainly the most common everywhere?

I would guess that fitbit doesn't make the devices compatible with the most ubiquitous platform (Windows 10) because fitbit does not have the technical capability. For as long as this complaint has been going on I would say that fitbit just doesn't care. I'm also amazed that the tech reviews from places like PCWorld never mention that fitbit devices are not compatible with Windows 10, leads me to believe these reviews are actually bought by fitbit rather than being true reviews of fitbit devices.

Sadly I have the same problem. I for one think it would be a great Idea if fitbit invested some time and money to be sure their products worked on windows 10 platforms. Or at least let people know more about compatability issues with some of their products. After reading this forum it looks like their are many of people who would agree. This would also be a great sales opportunity for Fitbit and just think PCWorld would not have this glaring flaw in their review. Everybody wins. Sounds good to me.

Have done all of that. Syncs when it wants to. Won't even sync using wireless dongle. Says that the device has no Bluetooth, so I think it is a fault with the Charge 4.
