My android based Fitbit just stopped showing time, date. steps, etc. with wrist rotation. no icons of any kind (completely dark). Doesn't even appear to have sensing light on bottom of strap. No icons even if button is pushed. Any similar issues encountered?

Hello @SteeleyDan

Try restarting your Charge 2 to see if that helps: https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/1186.htm. If the problem persist you can try changing your clock face through the Fitbit App. I’ve seen that help some individuals with a similar issue. It’s worth a shot. https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/2311.htm
If all fails….how old is your Fitbit?
😉 Hopefully a simple restart will do the trick or a quick clock face change. Keep me posted on how it goes

Hello @SteeleyDan

I hope it’s not your battery at the end of its life. Your Fitbit is five years of age and it’s very possible (giving that the average life span is 3-5 years) that this might be causing the issue. If restarting the Fitbit Charge 2 or changing the clock face doesn’t work then I suspect it’s mostly the battery in general. Researching it

The Fitbit Charge 2, Fitbit Inspire, Fitbit Inspire 2, Fitbit Charge 3 all seem to have longer lifespans than other Fitbit models. They can last around two years, perhaps even longer if treated with care. You can always reach out to Fitbit Customer Service to see if they can assist you: https://myhelp.fitbit.com/s/support?language=en_US

Not that I’m aware of. Of course you can search the internet and find places that claim they can fix things like this BUT I’m unaware of it’s services or if the websites are a trusted site.
I hope that provides clarity
