My device is about 3 years old. I put it away for several months and recently decided to start using it again. It charges just fine, and it tracks steps and monitors heart rate, but it absolutely refuses to sync. I have tried all online suggestions, and none of them works.
Thoughts?

Hi @DeePeel - have you tried restarting it? I’ve not had my hands on that device in a long time so I’m afraid that, if the reset does not work, all I can suggest is that you explore the Charge HR manual and troubleshooting section.

I’m having the same problem as you, have you found a solution ? I can’t find any help with it.

@DeePeel, Have you tried to sync it with your phone? I haven't had mine on in a year or more because the band came loose and i just order one. it still sync with it and my laptop.

Exact same problem here. I have had 3 FitBits and had problems with all 3. Thinking it is time for a change.

Same! After the latest update mine won’t sync AT ALL! I’ve literally tried every troubleshooting advice given. I even removed my device from my account so I can add it back. But the app can’t find the device to add back to my account. Ugh!

Pretty disappointed in Fitbit. About to throw it in the trash. Will not synch at all. Tried shutting it off and back on, etc, etc, etc. Why is Fitbit not helping out?

My Charge HR stopped syncing for about two months (after an Android app update in February); FitBit support was disappointingly unhelpful at the time. It was not synching for long enough that the time change occurred, and I couldn't change an alarm that I need to have on an absolute time.
The HR finally lost its marbles enough that I went to reset it (the recommended reset procedure failed). I ended up letting it run down the battery completely, and then it mysteriously started syncing again when I recharged it afterwards. No idea if this method will work for you, but it might be worth a try?

Same issue with my charge HR...been on endless lengthy calls with fit Bit support..who keep giving me steps to follow. Also has issue holding a charge...i left it alone for last 3 months and tried again may 1....still same issues.....after a 80 min call with fit Bit today they tell me it's my android they said fit Bit has not tested my phone to be compatible with fit Bit?? Where was this information every time I called? After pushing and pushing for a replacement i finally convinced rep to give me a discount for a new device. The joke is even with the discount the devices at way more expensive than the current sale fit Bit is having. Customer service at fit Bit leaves a lot to be desired...offering this false discount is embarrassing for Fit Bit!

My first Charge worked great, then band went on it. They sent me a new FB and after an upgrade, it's pretty much worthless. It will count steps and HR but the time and date is wrong, it won't even complete set up so it won't sync. I've done EVERYTHING they've suggested and still no luck. Has ANYONE had success with getting it to work again??

Thanks for the info!! I will look into it. Spoke to someone at FB yesterday and ultimately they told me my phone is no longer compatible. Granted, older phone but not ready to get a new one yet. I'll check the L8star. Thanks!!
