All I get is either the exclamation or power logo on the battery but it’s not actually charging

Try going through Fitbit's troubleshooting guide for charging issues at Help article: Why isn't my Fitbit device's battery charging?
If the tips in there don't help then, as it says at the end of that guide, it's probably best to contact customer support.
