My Charge HR will no longer charge as the connection where the cable goes into the back of the system is unstable.  Can this be resolved?

Sorry, but that tracker has been out of production for well over 2 years and Fitbit no longer has replacement cables. Looks like Amazon still has some.

 

But if it is the connector and not the cable there is nothing that you cab do,

Hi

It’s not the cable that is the problem. The point where the cable goes into the tracker is weak for some reason maybe wear and tear and the unit won’t hold the cable in place for charging. The unit would charge up if the connection was better.
