I received a message to update my Charge HR yesterday, which I did. The device has not worked since.
My phone app cannot locate my Fitbit and it only shows my battery life on the screen. I hope someone can assist. TIA

Best AnswerExactly, update, then failure to do anything: no sync, no tracking, niente, nada, niet. Then, suddenly after many fiddlings with restarts etc ad nauseam, after giving up in disgust, 9 hours later, suddenly Charge 3 started to work!
Now, the lodger’s Alta HR refuses to track heart beats!
We are thoroughly disgusted with these Fitbits and long for the efficient and rapid 2015 version of the Charge HR and may likely abandon this company for a different tool to monitor our work/walk/heart rates.
