Charge cable won't plug into USB port

I've been plugging my Fitbit charging cable into my iPhone cube for years with no problem. This morning, it won't fit physically into the charger. I have three of these and not one works, so the problem is not with the cubes. I'm out of town so can't try using my compute to charge.

This sounds a bit weird since you've been using it for years as you mentioned. Maybe the contacts of the usb port are dirty. Dust and debris can accumulate over time and prevent a charge. Clean the charging contacts using the instructions in How do I clean my tracker?

Let me know how it goes!

Turns out that my charger had pulled out a plastic separator from the wall USB port and it was stuck on the USB end of my charger. Our computer guru extracted the plastic from my charger and it is as good as new. So now I have two!

Hi there @Matilda9

Thanks for the update, those are great news because it was very weird that from one day to another you were unable to fit it into the charger but I'm happy to hear that you're back on track.Robot Happy

Thank you so much for your post!  That is exactly what happened with me. Tweezers helped get it out and I’m charging as we speak. 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼

My Fitbit charger will not work in the USB port of my computer....BUT my iPhone charger works and also my wireless mouse.  I just got 2 new chargers, cheap, and they will not work either.  What the heck???

Thank you for posting this - my charger would plug in so I looked into it and the same thing had happened to mine.  Tweezers did the trick and it’s working now.  So glad to have this community!
