Charge screen is too dull

Hi I've had my charge 4 days now and the last three days I can barely see the display screen on my tracker. I've looked for brightness adjustment in the app and can't find it. I've tried charging it and still no difference. Do I need to take it back to shop? Thank you

Accepted Solutions

Great to see you around @Vmoz. I agree with @WendyB, try the Restart Process since there's not an option to adjust the brightness of the display. If this doesn't work, feel free to go to the retailer and follow their exchange policy or contact our Support Team. For a faster solution you can contact them via phone or chat.

Try a restart. Sometimes doing it a few times helps. You need to see the Version flash on the unit or it did not take.

If that does not help then exchange it where ever you bought it

so much bother.... this is a brand new replacement Charge 3 & it's playing up now 😕 I can't see the screen, it's very dark. I have repeatedly restarted the device. The reset line & little smile face are crystal clear.  Unplug  the device from the charger & the screen is as dull as before. Fitbit this time round has been nothing but trouble & frustration.  Can anyone suggest another fix please

I am having the same issue. The screen is perfectly clear indoors but I can barely see it outdoors. I have completed the reset, seen the line and smiley face but still no difference when I go for my run. Is this a design fault on the Charge 3?
