Charge2 - Extremely Slow FitBit App Response Times Since Recent Update

Since the second week of June 2020 (probable app update), the iPhone FitBit app response times are ridiculously sluggish. I have to tap on any option at least two times and then the transition response is noticeably slower than anytime during past use.

 

The delay in response causes frequent “mis-taps” because menus are so slow to scroll that a menu often settles on a position after the desired option has been tapped, so it is actually choosing an unwanted option.

 

Overall, use of the app has become tedious and frustrating - not a good combination when dealing with a tool used to track exercise/food intake/etc. FitBit Support - please address the sluggish app response. Thank you!

Let me help you with your Fitbit app's slow performance. Try logging out from the app, restart your phone and log back in. Also make sure that the app is up to date.

Nothing has helped improve the slow app response time. App is up to date and so is iOS.

@JenG2020 there was an issue with the Fitbit app at the time you post but since then this has been fixed. If the issue persists then please keep an eye for any app update that may come in the following days.
