Hi there, I went on holiday and my battery died. I tried multiple times to recharge using a USB port but the device did not charge. I decided to wait until I returned home 3 weeks later and I’ve tried charging on my laptop/usb port but the device is completely unresponsive. The charger and pins on the device are clean. I’ve tried pressing the side button but I get nothing. Can someone please help?

Hi, @Leeloo44 , sometimes when a Fitbit doesn’t seem to be charging, the real issue is that it has become unresponsive.
First, I would strongly recommend plugging your Charge 4 into a wall charger - not the USB port on your computer. It will be much quicker to respond if charged from a wall socket. Just make sure the plug is UL/CE certified. The wall plug you use for your telephone is ideal, assuming it accepts the Fitbit usb charging cord.
Once plugged in to a wall plug, give it a good two hours charge. Once it has had two hours, if the watch face is still blank, try the restart procedure: while it is still plugged in and charging (even if it doesn’t seem to be charging) press and hold the side button for at least 8 secs. If the Fitbit is in an unresponsive state you may need to hold for up to 20-30 seconds.
With luck this should revive your Charge 4.
Good luck, and let us know how it goes. Welcome to the forums!

Me too with this issue. Mine happened over nite when I took it off for shower and didn't put it back on until this morning.
I noticed when I logged in that it hasn't synced since April 26th although it's been working find since then.
I'll try the wall outlet charge, but when I attach it to my computer and tried reset, it started vibrating and wouldn't stop till I disconnected it.
Also, I do see smiley face, however, nothing after that.
Any other ideas??
