Connecting an old Fitbit

Hi 

I want to use a Fitbit that I haven’t used in a long while, about 8 years !! It works but how to I link it to a different phone ? And change date / time etc please.

I’ve had a look but can’t see how?

In the app, go into your account settings by selecting your profile picture on the main screen, then select "set up a device". Hopefully, the Charge HR is still on the list of devices that can be connected. 

 

Once you go through the setup process the date and time will reset itself

@Bertie001   The Charge HR is on the list of devices you can add.  I briefly put my One back on my account to see if it still works and it did.  There is one thing that you need to understand.  The Charge HR is an older model tracker (2015).  Rechargeable batteries degrade over time, even when they aren't used.  Fitbit advertised a 5 day battery life when it was new.  If you don't get that battery life, this is the reason why.

Well it doesn’t hold any charge at all - I did think it would be a miracle if it worked as it hasn’t been used in years.
