Have not worn my fit bit for a week as was waiting for a new strap. When put on today I have apparently done over 49,000 steps this week!! Any ideas or are fit bits not as accurate as we think ??

Is the Fitbit near a vibration source like a fan, dehumidifier, or even a computer CPU? It can see the vibration as steps and add false steps.

 

You can enter a driving record to get rid of them
