Cracked Screen

Hi

 

Could someone please give me a definitive answer please.

 

I have read numerous times on this site that several people have had cracked screens and this seems to be a common fault. 

 

What I am trying to determine is:-

 

1 if this is a warranty fault,

and

2 if Fitbit replace the screen free of charge under warranty?

and

3 if so, how can I arrange this please.

 

any help would be appreciated.

I'm not sure I can give a definitive answer but my views are:

 

  • The warranty terms (see: https://www.fitbit.com/legal/returns-and-warranty ) exclude accidental damage so it depends on how the crack happened and whether fitbit think it is covered or not. 
  • If they think it is a valid warranty claim then they replace the entire tracker for free not just the screen (although I believe there may be shipping costs) 
  • You can contact customer support via contact.fitbit.com They can check your warranty status and advise on your options. If appropriate they can organise a replacement.
