I'm taking off to cross-country ski today and would like to suggest that Fitbit add this as a choice for Charge-4 owners.  In the meantime, I'm going to try using the Hiking app on the way out and the Outdoor Exercise on the way back to see how they do in tracking my activity.

Hello @EdorphinAddict and welcome to the Community.  I recommend Hike.  Outdoor Workout is designed for non-step based activities, like kayaking and stand up paddle board.  The distance totals don't get added to your daily total.

Thanks.  That's what I found out today while skiing.

I get inconsistent distances with Hike while XC skiing. Usually within 0.1km. But sometimes upwards of 0.5 km.
