Hello,
I've tried this several times with no luck. I want to create custom activity based on the standard 'Weights' activity, but which will show what I have trained I.e. Back, Chest, Shoulders etc.
I've created the activity in the web console previously and it does then show on the app. However, when I come to use it again via the app it does not add the duration to the active minutes.
For example, if I've done 30 minute Back session and I add it as the standard 'Weights' activity then the 30 minutes get added to the active minutes. If I log it using a custom 'Back' activity the 30 minutes do not get added to the active minutes,
Ideally, I'd like to be able to effectively copy the in-built 'Weights' activity and be able to re-label it to Back, Chest, Shoulders etc. So that the duration automatically get added to the active minutes. If it was copied, this could also calculate the calories. Although, calories is not something I'm that bothered about as its a best guess anyway and not a reliable figure.
Does anyone know if this is possible?
Kind regards,
Mark.

@SunsetRunner Welcome to the Fitbit Community! It's great to have you here!
Let me help you with your logged activities. Do you know if the custom activity logs the same amount of calories. Since the activity isn't being detected by the tracker then there is no other way to calculate the intensity of it. Knowing that active minutes are granted based on the intensity this is something to take into consideration. I suggest next time you log your activity you add the calories too so it shows it was intense. This should help calculate the time spent in this activity as active minutes. You can read more about active minutes here.
Let me know how it goes.
