I havent used the device for a month. Battery went flat and now it wont update date or time after being fully charged and turned on. I have tried everything suggested. What am i doing wrong?

The fitbit should automatically reset the date and time whenever it syncs with your phone or computer. If you are having issues syncing then the usual things to try are:
Hopefully there will be something on there that you have not yet tried.
