Delayed Notifications - Lacking Notification Widget

Hi,

Notifications on my Charge 2 are delayed by upwards of 10-15 seconds, consistently. I've tried all the troubleshooting steps from previous topics, but nothing helps a even the test notification in the app is 10-15s delayed if it gets there at all.

One troubleshooting step I haven't tried is to enable the persistent notification widget, which I see mentioned in the copy-paste that moderators always do for this topic.

That option isn't available in the app - does it even exist? Or is it the moderators here copy&pasting old/irrelevant info?

This is the step I'm talking about,

"If you have an Android phone, check the following:

  • Make sure Enable Notification Widget is on. You can find this with the other notification settings in the Fitbit app."

This option isn't available and I have the latest app installed.
