Charge 2 Not Tracking Sleep, but Tracks Everything Else

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Hi everyone,

Up until a few days ago, my Charge 2 was doing a great job of automatically detecting my sleep and tracking the stages. The last few nights, however, it acts like the sleep didn't happen. It's updating steps, heart rate, and calories, so it seems to be paired. I've tried a restart, but no change. I haven't changed how I'm wearing it or anything about my sleep arrangement.

Amy suggestions would be appreciated!

@Cuttlebranch A warm welcome to our Community! Sorry for the delay in my reply.

Let me help you with your sleep stages and thank you for troubleshooting this issue. You may not get sleep stages for the following reasons:

  • If you slept in a position that prevented your device from getting a consistent heart-rate reading or wore it too loosely. For best results, wear your device higher on your wrist (about 2-3 finger widths above your wrist bone). The band should feel secure but not too tight.
  • If you used the Begin Sleep Now option in the Fitbit app (instead of simply wearing your device to bed). For more information on automatic sleep tracking, see How do I track my sleep?
  • If you slept for less than 3 hours.
  • If your device’s battery is critically low.

Let me know how it goes.
