Device is not recognized after app update

Again. upgrade to app will only work on iPhone and not my iPad 

I do not need any useless advise to work around

The app was in same situation for months and this summer magically someone corrected the problem 

Well it is about time for someone to fix it again. 

ipad will not recognize my watch but it will receive the data later. 
Bluetooth works, all the rebooting no luck, no other devices within 5 km

Seems to me no one checked fir this problem before upgrade issued

All steps have been tried numerous times with still not able to get iPad to recognize my Fitbit when it always did before.
