Difficulty syncing for the past week

Anyone else suddenly having tons of trouble getting synced?  I try on my phone, it says device not found.  over and and over.  I restarted the fitbit, restarted my phone, even removed and re-added the device (and THAT was horrible, because it would not find the device).  eventually get it to re-add to my account.  but will still only randomly connect and sync after an exhaustive amount of attempts. 

 

I also tried on my laptop - I still have the original dongle.  My computer won't find it either, which makes me think either it's a software issue, or my fitbit is dying.

Remove fitbit form your Phone Bluetooth

Shut Phone down for a minute
Restart Fitbit

Manual sync and let the device restart the Bluetooth
