The display on my Charge 3 has gotten dimmer and dimmer for the last three months. It now is only barely visible and I fear it’ll go soon. 
it’s only 14 months old and in great condition so have no idea why it’s getting worse. 
I’ve tried the settings on Auto and normal but neither works. So I have to wright this off and buy something else?!?! Not happy.

Many with dim display problem find they are accidentally in Sleep Mode, but this would not be a gradual change.  But still worth checking; hold in side button a few seconds; look for 'Sleep Mode' and tap to toggle on or off; or can get to it right in Settings.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.
