I am new to using a charge 3. My previous Fitbit would vibrate when I received phone calls, and when I hit 10,000 steps. That was good.
This one vibrates every time I receive a text message and it drives me batty - like I want to tear it off and throw it. Do not disturb and removing it are not good options.
I want to stop it from vibrating with texts.
If that isn’t possible (that would be pathetic if that’s the case) then I want to disable the vibrations entirely.
Can anyone tell me how to do this?

Well ai can t figure out how to delete my dang post so ai will post my answer - after some digging around I finally remembered how I had turned on the vibration alerts. Turning them off means I won’t get the call alerts but it’s better than constant buzzing.
(iphone)
Settings>Bluetooth>My Devices>
Click on the Charge 3 “i” (in a circle on the right)
Disable Share System Notifications

Hello @HurdyGertie and welcome to the Help forum. You can turn off just text message alerts for your Charge 3. Tap on your profile picture > Charge 3 > Notifications > toggle texts to off. You can keep your other vibrations on.

Ok, I guess something is just not working right then. That’s the first thing I did and it didn’t take. So I looked up online and tried restarting my phone, thought it worked (got a couple of silent texts I thought) but nope. I don’t know what is up.
I will have to settle for no vibrations until I give it a shot again someday. Thanks for the answer.
