Discontinuing Charge 2

I am upgrading devices from my old Charge 2 and plan to pass it down to a family member. I found the option on my phone under settings/bluetooth for it to forget the device and I think I stopped the act. My question is, the greeting on the fitbit still shows my name.  How can I remove that before I give the device away.  Also, does the Charge 3 use the same size replacement bands as the Charge 2?  I have a lot of different color bands.

Thanks!

Welcome to the forums!

Please sync your device one last time. If you dont somethings will get carried over when set up by another.

Phone Remove it from Bluetooth first!! Tab devise and hit the trash can

Computer Removed it form Blue tooth on your phone first! Go to dashboard click on device name and scroll to bottom and remove it

As far as the bands no they are not interchangeable

Thank-you Wendy,  I think I was able to do what you suggested.  I'll see if my name reappears in the greeting or not.  I see many people have cracked screens.  Mine is too.  I wish they were replaceable.  Oh well, I'm moving on.
