Does anyone else go through a device a year?

I was wondering if anyone else has had as much trouble with their devices as I have? I seem to go through one a year (or more) before they fail in some way. I'm an equestrian that does actual barn work, but I've always been very careful about not damaging my jewelry/watches.

By my count I started with the original Charge HR (had the charger rip out the charging port on two of them), then the Charge 2 (Two screen failures, and one that survived), and now I'm about to get my third charge 3 (one battery was going to explode, the second just quit working).

So, anyone else?

All of mine have lasted 3 or more years

How are you charging it?

See this thread for charging best practices. If you are not charging it correctly you could be damaging the battery

My hubby and I each bought a Blaze back in 2016. His battery died after 2 years so I gave him mine and it's still working. I bought a Charge 3 last May and although it wants me to update the tracker, I refuse to after seeing all of the troubles the updates are causing. But since changing phones, my Charge is now having issues syncing, auto recognizing walking or even finding the tracker when I want to start and exercise. I think this will be my last Fitbit.

The same thing has happened to me. After being on a chat with Fitbit, they determined that the Charge 3 is faulty. Of course it is over the warranty, so they said they would give me a discount on a new one. that is bull**ahem**. they make junk stuff. I would say go get something better. This is the second Fitbit I have had that crapped out after two years.
