My Fitbit is out of warranty now, or at least I assume it is because I received it for Christmas 2020.  I have had the strap replaced under warranty but now the screen is almost completely blacked out.  The screen started fading in the top left corner this week but now only the bottom is visible.  The battery life has reduced as well.  About a month and a half ago, the Fitbit needed to be charged more frequently.

Not sure if a reset would help, do you have any suggestions?

I was actually going to suggest the reset. Plug the device into a computer. There should be a button on the side, hold it down for 10 seconds and release. The smiley face signifies a successful restart.

Mine died completely on Friday evening (4/8/2022). We were away on vacation, put in over 14,000 steps around Epcot, went back to the room to rest, and when we went to get some dinner it was dead. Put it on the charger, restarted it, and did get it up to 90%, but by morning it was dead again, and nothing was able to revive it. Hubby has a charge 3 that is still going strong, but my charge 4 is dead as a doornail.
