How do I edit my steps for a day?

There's not a lot we can do to manually adjust our steps. It is possible to remove some that were recorded in error such as when in a car on a bumpy road and it's possible to manually add activities and associated steps. See https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/1306.htm
