I purchased a new Charge 3 and received it yesterday after hearing that Fitbit has activated a new feature that enables it to estimate blood oxygen levels during sleep. I made the switch from another Fitbit watch that I'd been wearing for a couple of weeks. How do I enable Sp02/blood oxygen monitoring/estimation on Charge 3?

Hi Charandy
If you press on Learn more just right above the Eov graph it explains everything in that.

Now you sleep better with the CPAP, but what I want to know is if your
Blood oxygen estimation graph changed when you started using the CPAP.

I ain’t an expert on the variations but I’m glad mine doesn’t register high too often. I wish I’d had mine before I got my CPAP to see the differences. Get your sleep study done :sun_with_face:

Sorry only saw this one now. I’m on CPAP since 2014. Got my 1st Fitbit in May 2019 and only realised the EOV feature was on my Fitbit in January 20.
I like to register in the LOW graph.

Mine had data the very first night that I got it, but nothing since. I remember seeing a red light the first night, but not since. I am a premium member. I’ve only had this one week, but I think my light is not working.

Hi
Laptops need a restart and so does this amazing little Fitbit.
Restart your charge 3.
Now on your charge 3 scroll left to settings - open - scroll up to About - open - scroll up to Reboot device - open.
This works 😊

One of the threads on this Community suggested Restarting the Charge 3. I had been wearing the device for three whole days (and nights), with blank Oxygen graphs. The Sleep graph was there, and detailed, but no Oxygen graph. My Better Half's device has been recording Oxygen from the first day she wore hers, over a week ago.
Last night, after Restarting the Charge 3, I had an Oxygen graph. Not too detailed, but a graph, nonetheless.
Try a Restart on your Charge 3. Please note that you will have to reSync your Charge 3 to your iPad/tablet/phone, but it might help re-initialize your Charge 3.
Good Luck.
I do use a CPAP, and since starting to use it I can't sleep well without it. I take it on overnight trips, and out-of-country trips. I have only started getting the Oxygen graphs, so I have no idea what the difference would be without it. However, if your medical professional is recommending the use of a CPAP, you owe it to yourself to try it. I don't necessarily notice a big change, but my Better Half is not getting up in the morning with ringing ears anymore.
Note: I did a "Restart" not a "Reset". The data should stay in the device on a "Restart".

glad I'm not alone in this. just an empty box with no info is boring.

Update on the "Restart" for my Charge 3, is that it recorded EOV for last night, as well. I will check it over the next few nights, and then...
I will attempt a night of sleep without my CPAP, just to see what that does. I should have a bad nights' sleep and get up in the morning feeling like poop. But, it will hopefully test out the EOV sensor.
I will report back in a few days with the results.

Reporting back on oxygen readings without the CPAP. I don't know what the graph readings mean, nor how they are read, but the variations through the first half of the night were into the orange, which I think means there were lots of variations in my oxygen levels. Previous evenings were nearly flat, and all in the green. This morning, I got up early, but returned to bed and didn't put on my mask. The variations in my graph when I looked at it this morning were representative. Through the night it was flat and green, for the last part it was still, just, in the green, but no where near as flat as the masked part of the night. Also, my Better Half said I was snoring heavily, without the mask (no surprise).

As of yesterday, EOV has stopped displaying a graph on both my and my Better Half's Charge 3. No idea why.
I will try a reset on mine today, to see if it comes back.

I've noticed on nights I don't get 3 hrs or more sleep at night the EOV doesn't show anything. If your NOT sleeping for 3+hrs nightly that could be the problem or try resetting it. Hope this helps.
