You have asked in the Charge forum and that tracker has been out of production for well over 2 1/2 years. Please clarify exactly which tracker you have.

I don't know if it has anything to do with it but when I got my error I had the fitbit connected to the charger because it said continue to charge. Yesterday I did it without being connected and it worked!!

For those of you who are still having trouble updating your device, please try the following:

  1. Go to the Bluetooth settings on your phone and check if your tracker is on the list of paired devices. If it is, tap on it and select Forget this Device.
  2. Restart your device.
  3. Force-quit the app and open it again.
  4. Try to update again.

I hope this can be helpful, for those of you with a Charge 3, please refer to the Charge 3 board for more information and if you need further assistance, please create a post there as this board is specifically for the Fitbit Charge

Thanks for your patience and understanding, have a great day.
