FItbit Charge everything reset to zero

I noticed yesterday my Fitbit time was constantly on. Tried to check my steps and nothing would change. It was froze , came home put it on charge and after about a hour it had reset. Now everything was on zero no  steps, cals, miles etc.  I've only had this Fitbit for 3 weeks and am wondering if this happens often? My Fitbit one rarely had issues it still works even after I accidentally ran over it and cracked the screen.  It was bought new through Amazon.  Thanks for any help to resolve this issue if it happens again.

May I ask what Fitbit you may have @Chasidy   

You say you have a Charge but this model was discontinued years ago.
