Exercise not being recognised

I have a Charge HR and walk every morning for around an hour.  While the tracker does not always get the duration right (which I can then manually update), for the last two days, these walks have not been recognised as "exercise" - so am showing only 1 out of 3 days instead of 3 out of 3.  I tried manually logging the walks as I know the distance and rough duration, but when I did this, all the data gathered for that time period seemed to duplicate, so suddenly instead of being at 8,300 steps so far, I was showing over 16,000 steps.

I will try to reboot Fitbit, but may start manually tracking exercise when I remember.  But, is there any way to log exercise without duplicating the data for that period?

Thanks in advance!

I am having a very similar issue with the same device - I suspect its getting old. It's always been fine until the past couple of days. I have Android phone and MAC for Fitbit Connect and Dashboard. I have had trouble with syncing in general in the recent days - but even after sync works, the activity (Active Minutes) is not syncing or working correctly like it used to.

You could use the tracking function on the Charge HR.

Simply hold on the button until you see the timer. Then hold in the button to turn off the tracking.
